The last four years have been incredibly painful, but they have not been wasted. Not only did so much of middle America have to see clearly the level of evil of the enemy, but other things had to fall in place in order for the most positive change to be effected. Had Trump just rolled forward for 4 more years back in 2020, Elon Musk would not be there beside him. RFK would not have come over, bringing many reasonable Democrats with him, in an historic interface that promises to bring fundamental change to our health institutions, which have been held hostage to corporate interests for one hundred years. Ditto Tulsi Gabbard, bringing over Dems and Indies who want an end to endless war.
I’m also certain that Trump himself has used this time profitably – not only to build the MAGA movement further and to make connections as above, but also to hone his own vision of how he will deal with our problems and our adversaries.
So it has been painful and the cost has been high – losing Afghanistan, allowing the enemy to create a land bridge from Beijing to Tehran, the war in the ME, and on and on, but it actually leaves us in a stronger position that we were before this nightmare. The people have seen the utter bankruptcy of the Democrat Part, and Trump almost certainly has a greater mandate now than he would have had even in a fair election back then.
