Trump’s Transition team

Trump is very smart to add RFK and Tulsi Gabbard to his transition team. He is signaling that he is serious about moving beyond the old cronyism, even that of his own party. And cronyism is what eventually did in his first term.

His first transition team was led by Mike Pence, who proved to be a very effective saboteur. Considering the high level of turnover and the number of outright betrayers, led by Pence himself but Bill Barr running a close second, bad appointments led directly to the stolen election of 2020 and the consequent denial of Trump’s rightful second term.

This time the two Trump boys will be vetting all comers, and they know full well that they need to keep pretenders away. And 2 solid Trump backers from the corporate world will be leading efforts to find and draw good talent.

To add to this, Trump has now brought two prominent ex-Democrats on board. Having RFK’s input makes a lot of sense, because if his goal to stop endless war, clean up our food supply, stop censorship, and secure medical freedom is to be realized—all goals Trump has fully endorsed–then the people heading HHS, Commerce, Agriculture, the EPA, and Science and Technology will have to be fully onboard. No one is better equipped to vet these people than RFK.

Make no mistake, achieving that goal is going to entail a battle for the very economic character of the country moving forward. There are extremely powerful interests deeply vested in the status quo. They are making a ton of money on our suffering with poor health. RFK said in his recent Tucker interview that there is nothing more valuable to them than a sick child. Cradle to grave lucrative dependence. Talk about a perverse incentive! But it is true, and that is what we’re up against. (Ironically, it would be far cheaper to promote health by providing organic food, etc, than to pay for our diseases.)

Tulsi’s presence makes sense too, because it signals that anyone who truly has America’s best interests at heart can find a place to serve. We don’t have to agree on everything. At last an example is being provided, and a way made, for us to stop needless divisiveness and to join together to solve our deepest longstanding existential problems.

Trump plays to win. And he has set his sights high. If the Lord allows, he will end up being one of our most consequential presidents ever, and like Washington and Lincoln before him, a savior of the republic, just in the nick of time.

Petition the Lord for mercy and grace that this may be, and keep working that it may happen. And pray for the safety of everyone in the Trump family.
